Kyle Patrick Sullivan is a versatile operatic and concert baritone hailing from California, known for his captivating performances that span a wide range of repertoire. With a rich and resonant voice, Kyle’s artistry shines in both opera and concert settings. His passion for delivering engaging performances is evident in his extensive repertoire, which encompasses everything from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary compositions.

Kyle’s career highlights include notable roles such as Il Conte d’Almaviva in Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro” and Dandini in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola.”  In 2022 he debuted with the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto in the role of Masetto (Don Giovanni) under the baton of Salvatore Percacciolo and staging by Henning Brockhaus. He His interpretations of these characters have been praised for their depth and nuance, showcasing his ability to embody a wide range of emotions on stage.his repertoire also includes Noye(Noye’s Fludde-Britten), Parmenione(L’occasione fa il ladro), il Dottor Malatesta (Don Pasquale), Melisso (Alcina), David (A Hand of Bridge), Nettuno (Il Ritorno di Ulisse in Patria).

In addition to his operatic roles, Kyle has also distinguished himself as a concert soloist, performing with esteemed ensembles such as and ensembles across the world. His repertoire as a concert soloist includes works such as Handel’s Messiah, and Bach’s JohannesPassion (March & October 2024), where his powerful baritone voice captivates audiences with its depth and expressiveness. Kyle is also a soloist with the Cappella Musicale della Cattredrale di Firenze where he performs works both ancient and contemporary as in the recent Via Crucis concert (Holy Week 2024) which presented contemporary works written for the occasion. He has also appeared in two separate occasions on recitals for the Festival Chorégiesd’Orange (2021&2022). 

Kyle’s dedication to his craft extends beyond his performances on stage. He has actively sought out opportunities to expand his musical horizons through participation in masterclasses with acclaimed artists such as William Crutchfield, Alberto Mastromarino and Alessandro Corbelli. These experiences have further enriched his musical interpretation and deepened his understanding of vocal technique and bel canto style.
